My First Solo in October of 2024!

Good flying begins on the ground, well before takeoff.

Hi, I’m Adam Huynh, a Certified Flight Instructor based in Northern California. Before I taught in the cockpit, I spent more than seven years as a physical education teacher. Those years showed me that students do their best work when they feel supported by someone they trust, and that’s the kind of instructor I aim to be.

In our lessons, you’ll practice making sound calls: checking the forecast, sizing up risk, and recognizing when the smartest choice is to keep the airplane on the ground. We’ll treat safety as a habit you carry everywhere rather than a list you recite, so you learn to anticipate what comes next and trust your instincts when something seems off.

I also want you to understand the reasoning behind every procedure. We’ll tie what you read in the textbook to the real sights, sounds and feel of flight, so the lessons stick when it counts.

Wherever you’re starting from, we’ll move at your pace and celebrate each milestone along the way. My goal is simple: to help you become a pilot who flies with skill, good judgment and confidence you’ve earned yourself.
